Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta 2004

If you have never been to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta, it is an amazing site! Balloons were everywhere. The work and organization that goes into the event is awe-inspiring. The fact that they can deal with over a million people, 700 plus balloons and do it all in an organized, fun and safe manner is truly astonishing, especially when you consider that it is done with a vast amount of volunteer effort. I could not help but be very impressed!

Being on the ground surrounded by balloons, listening to the fans and propane jets airing them up, was exhilarating. Excitement was in the air! Beauty was all around. What a fabulous experience!

I cannot wait to go again!
